Ontem, fui visitar um amigo e ele estava ouvindo uma cantora que eu nunca ouvira antes, ou sequer ouvira falar de. Quando perguntei quem cantava, ele disse-me se tratar de Cat Power. Eu não acreditei que alguém poderia chamar-se a si mesma Cat Power. Não é o máximo? Quando entramos no Youtube , vi que a moça é linda e que o seu som é mesmo delicioso. Uma voz contida, um som intimista e uma performance extremamente charmosa.

Também vi um trecho de sua participação em um dos últimos filmes de Wong Kar Wai [o must do cinema contemporâneo!, sem dúvida.] My Blueberry Nights. A ponta que ela faz é uma cena de pura sedução, na companhia do também charmoso Jude Law.

Importante: quem postou o trecho do filme no Youtube , em que Cat Power aparece, editou tal trecho com uma canção da própria Cat Power ao fundo, o que não acontece no filme originalmente. Eu gostei muito de ver e ouvir tudo isso e espero que vocês também apreciem.
